Children’s Ministry

Jellybean Good News Theater

Sunday morning is an exciting time for our children. After a few hymns and a prayer, they file out of “big church” and are escorted to the Jellybean Good News Theater, where there is never a dull moment. There they meet Miss Janice and their puppet friends to have a rollicking good time. They sing their favorite songs and hear the latest problems that puppets Buckwheat, Cactus, and Penelope get into. The puppets Grandpa and Officer O’Reilly help them sort it all out while learning some wonderful lessons about life. The Jellybean crew is made up of adults who love children. Several of them actually attended Jellybean as kids, back in its beginning in the 1960s when their parents were the puppeteers. Three generations have been involved with teaching and learning God’s great principles of love, kindness and good values.

The older kids (Kindergarten-5th grade) go with Mrs. Elva and Mrs. Kelly. 6th grade and above go to the youth group.
