Adult Sunday School
We currently have two Sunday morning Sunday School classes for Adults:
“When You’re Feeling Down, Look Up!”: A Study of Ephesians 1-3
- Location: Sanctuary
- Teacher: Monroe Teague
- Description: There is one thing we have in common—there are times in all our lives when we feel down. It may be for a brief period, or it may last for days or even weeks. The cause may be physical or psychological or maybe even spiritual. But whatever the cause, there is a foundational solution. We must look beyond ourselves to the God who cares about us and loves us unconditionally. In some instances we may need professional assistance but in all circumstances we need to “Look Up!” If you are feeling down, Paul’s words of hope in Ephesians will help you look up.
“Life on the Vine”: Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit in Christian Community
- Location: Room 501 (Fellowship Center)
- Teacher: Travis Stanley
- Description: Reflecting on the book Life on the Vine by Philip Kenneson, this class explores ways we can cultivate the Fruit of the Spirit in the midst of obstacles within our culture. Each week we will look at a different “fruit” and explore it in depth.
